I originally went to design school with the intention of becoming an architect, but I ended up earning a degree in interior design with a minor in illustration. My plan was to pursue a career as an interior renderer for a major architecture firm, but the rise of CAD technology shifted the landscape. (In fact, my first interview was with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Washington, DC.) I was lucky to land in the office of William Hodgins then on to NYC with McMillen and Parish Hadley before I started my own design firm in London and then Boston.

How did you get started in design?
As designers, we have the ability to harness the power of home. It’s more than just creating beautiful spaces; it’s about curating environments that inspire, comfort, and reflect the lives within them.
How do you approach the creative process and problem-solving in design?
Every project is unique, and our approach is often shaped by getting to know the client and understanding how they live. We draw inspiration from a variety of influences, with travel being my greatest source of inspiration. It allows me to bring fresh perspectives and global influences into each design, tailoring the experience to reflect the client’s lifestyle.
What aspects of Palmer products complement your brand style?
We are deeply rooted in timeless, classic design, whether we’re incorporating streamlined contemporary elements or embracing more traditional styles, depending on the project’s needs. The Palmer design options share that same sense of classic appeal, making them incredibly versatile. They can seamlessly complement a wide range of design styles, from modern to traditional, while maintaining their elegance and enduring charm. They’re one of our go to vendors when we are designing bathrooms
How do you ensure the design meets the clients' expectations?
Form always follows function. When we begin a project, our first step is to deeply listen to the client’s needs—how they live, how they want to feel in their spaces. This understanding sets the foundation and guides every design decision, ensuring that the end result is both beautiful and perfectly tailored to their lifestyle.
“I’m inspired by the unique stories, experiences, and emotions each client brings, and my goal is to translate that into a space that feels both deeply personal and timelessly welcoming.”
