At The Cooper Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, Palmer created a series of custom metalwork features for The Crossing, the hotel’s signature restaurant.

The centerpiece is a dramatic, multi-level shelving installation we affectionately call “the Chandelier,” featuring curved tiers for stemware, fluted glass panels, custom-fabricated brackets, and a mix of brass and chrome finishes.

Palmer also fabricated a large coordinating shelving unit with fluted glass, along with a mixed-metal cold bar partition that creates separation between guests and the fresh seafood display while maintaining visibility and an open feel.

Together, these elements combine custom fabrication, mixed metals, refined detailing, and functional design within a distinctive Charleston hospitality interior.

At The Chumley House in Fort Worth, Texas, we collaborated with Sees Design to design a standout brass bar based on our Ball Shelving system.

The space is anchored by suspended bar shelving with sweeping curved corners and a fully custom curved bottle rail. Coordinating back bar shelving carries the same finish details throughout the space. Customized fittings and precisely formed curves transform the system into site-specific architectural metalwork designed for this Fort Worth gem.

Palmer Industries has partnered with Soho House, the members only club for creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs, on custom vanity installations across multiple House locations, including Nashville, Austin, and Los Angeles. The ongoing collaboration spans both standard applications and fully bespoke solutions, matching the distinct atmosphere and design language of each property.

Among the custom work is the Soho Leg System, a bespoke sink leg designed specifically for Soho House and now offered as a standard product in Palmer's collection. Other installations feature Tapered Foot and Ball Foot systems. All Palmer Legs are made from solid brass and hand finished in Rhode island, available in a range of finishes for hospitality and residential design.

Palmer Industries supplied custom vanities throughout the guest bathrooms at Belden House & Mews, a One Key Michelin Hotel in Litchfield, Connecticut, and the first full-service hotel to open in the town's historic center in over a century. Developed by the team behind Troutbeck, the Michelin Key Estate Hotel in New York's Hudson Valley, Belden House restores the 1888 Dr. Charles Belden mansion and pairs it with the Mews, a 1959 modernist addition tied to Litchfield's design legacy alongside architects like Marcel Breuer and Eliot Noyes.

Palmer's Ball Foot and Studio Sink Legs were selected to complement this dual identity, supporting the hotel's understated, residential approach to luxury with simple forms and considered materials rather than ornamentation. As with all Palmer sink legs, each piece is solid brass, hand finished in Rhode Island, and suited to both historic restoration and modernist interiors.

Palmer Industries partnered with designer Amanda Lindroth to fabricate a suite of Retail Dress Displays in Polished Brass for Hill House Home's flagship store in Charleston, South Carolina. Best known for the Nap Dress, the piece that launched the brand's cult following, Hill House Home opened this King Street location as its largest store to date, with interiors designed to reflect the brand's romantic, feminine aesthetic.

Along the walls, center supports anchor custom Closet Rods into a refined garment hanging system. To complement these traditional closet components, Palmer fabricated a suite of freestanding displays that bring the garments into the open retail space, reimagining closet hardware for a curated retail experience.
